About Me
My name is Stuart Ogburn and I have been teaching for five years. I graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. After graduation, I began teaching 4th grade at Lawrenceville Elementary school in Gwinnett County. Once I got my first year under my belt I moved to Norton Park Elementary School in Cobb County where I taught 4th grade for three years. While at Norton Park I decided to pursue my Masters degree in Instructional Technology and graduated in May of 2016. I also was honored with winning the Governors Innovating in Teaching Competition in November 2015 for the state of Georgia. Please view my teaching video below and my professional portfolio. This will be my second year at Teasley.
I have been married to my wife, Carlie, for three years and have a daughter, Everly who is 1 year old and we are expecting a baby boy in December. I enjoy photography, art, and anything technology. I also enjoy traveling and renovating houses. I am looking forward to having a great year with you and your child. Together we can give your student the best possible education.
